LeBron James leads Lakers to a crucial Game 4 win against the Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 4 of their playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies, extending their series lead to 3-1. LeBron James had a historic 20-point, 20-rebound game, and D’Angelo Russell sank three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to bring the Lakers back into the game. The Lakers had to come back from a halftime disadvantage to win the game in overtime, with James sealing the victory with a layup and a free throw.

The Los Angeles Lakers took a huge step toward advancing in the playoffs on Monday night with a 117-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers are currently up 3-1 in the series, and they have a chance to wrap it up in Game 5 on Wednesday.

James Dominates with 20-Point, 20-Rebound Game

The Lakers were led by a historic performance from LeBron James, who scored 22 points and a career-high 20 rebounds, making him the oldest player in postseason history to do so. He also forced overtime with a driving layup with 0.8 seconds remaining in regulation, and he secured the game with another layup and a free throw in the extra period.

D’Angelo Russell, who had been struggling in the series, also gave the Lakers a major boost. Russell hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Lakers overcome a seven-point deficit and end with 17 points.

The Grizzlies had a chance to win the game in regulation, but Morant’s game-winning mid-range shot was blocked by Davis. Morant aggravated his sore right hand injury in the third quarter but continued to play, scoring 19 points.

Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 36 points, and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 14 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks. Xavier Tillman added 12 points as well.

Lakers Take a Crucial 3-1 Series Lead

The Lakers led 29-23 after the first quarter, but the Grizzlies closed the gap and even took the lead late in regulation. However, the Lakers rallied and won in overtime, with James and Russell leading the way. The Lakers are one win away from progressing to the next round of the playoffs after their victory.
